Located at the former Lou’s Billow Beach in Saybrook-on-the-Lake, between Geneva-on-the-Lake and the historic Ashtabula Harbor, Lago Enoteca brings together scratch-made Italian cuisine, Lago Cellars wines, and a full bar on the shores of Lake Erie. Opened in 2024, the family-owned concept has grown beyond its original fine-dining focus while keeping fresh pasta and sauces made to order at the heart of its kitchen.
Our Italian restaurant in Ashtabula features the signature Breadcrumb Chicken Parmesan, a Build Your Own Pasta Dinner experience, and house-made desserts. The adjoining experience adds Grand River Valley selections and sommelier-led personalized wine pairings at your table. Chocolate-inspired treats and a full cocktail menu round out the offering.

I have never been to this location and I wish I would have come here a long time ago. The entire atmosphere if classy, yet simple and welcoming to individuals that may be outside of that realm in the moment (ex. Roofer BF still in work clothes from closing a roof). The service was amazing, the food was phenomenal and the drinks are with every cent. Give Lago Cellars a try, you'll be happy you did!

Wonderful meal tonight at Lago. New manager is making meaningful changes. Portion sizes are bigger, food is well prepared, presented and hot. Waitstaff is attentive. I had the cod, baked potato and zucchini. My husband had Aglio pasta with shrimp. Both excellent. We will definitely be back.
We came for wine and they did not disappoint. Definitely will be back for dinner, can't wait to try the food, the menu looks great. Atmosphere was great.
